The Ten — the number that does not exist elsewhere

Every other calculator told you that you were a One. They were wrong, and the reason matters.

One is the absolute number. It is contained inside every other number, which means nobody is governed by it alone. In this school a date that reduces to one gives Ten — one raised, one that has been through the whole cycle and come back to the start.

You lead. Not always by choosing to; people simply look at you when a decision is needed, and they have done it since you were young.

Your self is the instrument. That is the whole assignment and the whole exposure. Your ego is not a flaw to be apologised for, it is the tool you were given, and an untended tool will turn in your hand.

This is the first of the three compound numbers. Any date whose digits reduce toward one arrives here instead — totals of 19, 28, 37 and 46 among them.

The gift: Natural authority that does not need to be announced.
The trap: Confusing being followed with being right.
The work: Submit to something. A craft, a teacher, a standard outside yourself. A Ten with nothing above them becomes very hard to be around.

How it is reached

Add every digit of a full birth date, then reduce — halting at 10, 11 or 22, the three compound numbers. Ruling Number 10 occupies the physical plane of the birth chart.
