The Nine — the idealist

You want to fix the world, which is convenient, because it is larger than your own life.

Nine closes the mental plane at its most ambitious point. You think in principles and in scale. The small compromise offends you more than the large failure does.

You are genuinely humanitarian — not performatively, actually. You will do unglamorous work for people who will never know your name.

But ideals are also somewhere to hide. It is easier to care about everyone than to be reliable to the three people who live with you.

The gift: Vision wide enough that other people organise their effort around it.
The trap: Disappointment, which curdles. You hold the world to a standard it did not agree to.
The work: Pick one specific person and be dependable to them for a year. Ideals are proved at that scale or not at all.

How it is reached
